    MOBILE MULTISKILLED ENGINEER

    Carbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to support maintenance operations at Otterbourne, Hampshire Site.

    ROLE: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer

    PAY RATE: £19.48 per hour

    CONTRACT TYPE: 3-Month Contract

    LOCATION: Otterbourne, Hampshire

    BENEFITS: Company van, phone/PDA, tools, full PPE & uniform will be provided (business use only)

    THE ROLE:

    The Mobile Multiskilled Engineer will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical and electrical building services systems. The role involves ensuring plant and equipment remain operational, safe, and compliant with company standards and contractual requirements.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical and electrical building services plant

    Respond promptly to maintenance issues and fault finding across site equipment and systems

    Perform Legionella control tasks, monitoring activities, and fire alarm testing

    Ensure plant faults and defects are rectified efficiently to maintain operational performance

    Update and complete all maintenance records accurately using CAFM systems

    Prepare and follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all task

    Maintain plant rooms and work areas in a safe, clean, and organised condition

    Supervise and monitor subcontractors while undertaking work on site

    Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company SHEQ policies

    Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required

    Maintain professional communication with clients, site teams, and helpdesk staff

    Support operational continuity during emergency situations

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Proven experience in building services maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems

    Strong knowledge of PPM schedules and reactive maintenance procedures

    Experience using CAFM systems for job tracking and reporting

    Good understanding of health and safety practices within engineering environments

    Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and oversee subcontractor

    Strong problem-solving and communication skills

    Professional attitude and customer-focused approach

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

    Electrical:

    City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (2360 / 2330 Level 2 & 3 or equivalent)

    18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)

    Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or 2394/2395)

    NICEIC periodic inspection and testing competency

    Mechanical:

    BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC

    C&G Heating & Ventilation qualifications

    Experience in plumbing system maintenance and fault diagnosis

    Competent Person - Mechanical or Pressure Systems

    DESIRABLE:

    EUSR National Water Hygiene Card

    Experience working within commercial or public sector building maintenance contracts

    Ability to produce condition and maintenance reports
