Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a valid driver's licence and demonstrate exceptional proficiency in operating forklift machinery within a fast‑paced construction site.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations
Load, unload, move, and stack materials accurately and efficiently
Conduct routine equipment checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard‑free working environment
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow operationsRequirements
Proven experience as a forklift driver within a construction site
Valid forklift licence
Valid full UK driver's licence
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high operational standards
Salary description
£19.00 - £20.00 per hour
