Nursery Practitioner

TeacherActive is delighted to be partnering with a number of welcoming nurseries across Sheffield, currently recruiting for both full-time and flexible day-to-day positions. These nurseries care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, guiding them through their crucial early stages of development. They are committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where children can build confidence, independence and a love for learning. Safeguarding and Child Protection policies are a top priority, with staff kept fully up to date to ensure the highest standards of care.

We are currently looking for dedicated Early Years Assistants to work full-time (5 days per week). Successful candidates must be flexible to work varied shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm. The ideal applicant will have previous experience in an Early Years setting and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and curriculum.

The successful Early Years Assistant will:

Have previous experience within an Early Years setting and a sound knowledge of the EYFS
Be creative and confident in planning engaging activities based on children’s interests
Be reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic about developing their skills
