How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you passionate about significantly improving the life of a young learner with educational needs? Would you like to be the support that enables a child with educational barriers to overcome their obstacles? An exciting Autism Support Assistant role for future psychologists, therapists, counsellors and SENCOs has become available to provide invaluable experience for future careers.

    A highly-regarded primary school in Swindon are searching for an Autism Support Assistant to be employed on an immediate and long-term basis. The ASD child has an EHCP with explicit targets and outcomes and will necessitate a dedicated and caring individual who will understand the specific needs of this child. The primary school are looking for an Autism Support Assistant who is charismatic, empathetic and demonstrates a genuine desire to make a positive impact to children with SEN. Previous experience with working with children with Autism is admirable for this Autism Support Assistant position.

    This is a tremendous opportunity for obtaining experience within the Special Needs and Mental Health sector as you will have the chance in your role as an Autism Support Assistant to observe, work-alongside and collaborate with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and teachers with SEN specialisms.
