Hgv Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leicester area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time)

Hours: Days/afternoon and nights

Pay Rate:

* Days Bulk - £15.36 per hour PAYE

* Nights Bulk- £15.86 per hour PAYE

* Days Trunk - £17.50 per hour PAYE

* Nights Trunk - £18.25 per hour PAYE

Location: Leicester, LE4

Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing

The role:

* Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.

* Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* 6 months minimum experience required

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
