Our client, a leading company in the power distribution and energy sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role focused on managing EHV cable projects across the Swindon & West London region.
If you have an SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor ticket and have a good knowledge / experience of Utilities Infrastructure (Gas/Water/Telecoms/Highways) we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of site management for EHV cable projects
Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and SMSTS regulations
Managing teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections
Monitoring and managing the use of resources and equipment
Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining project documentation
Resolving any on-site issues and mitigating project risks
Job Requirements:
SMSTS
NRSWA Supervisory ticket
Safe Digging practices / HSG47
Utilities knowledge (Excavation, Ducting, Laying Utilities, Backfill & Reinstatement)
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
HV Power experience for an ICP / DNO (Desirable)
