Forklift Driver
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am alternating days and nights each week
Salary: £35,164pa
Location: Burton-on-Trent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced forklift driver on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable forklift driver who is looking for stable, long-term work within a busy production environment and opportunities for progression.
This role requires a skilled forklift driver with a valid external Counterbalance licence who is comfortable working both in the yard and within the production area.

Responsibilities:
* Moving tiles off the production line using a counterbalance forklift
* Stacking finished products in allocated yard locations
* Organising and maintaining safe storage areas
* Transporting raw materials from the yard into the factory
* Supporting the production line with materials using the forklift
* Picking and packing tiles from the line when required
* Ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently to keep production running smoothly
Requirements:
* Valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
* Previous experience working as a forklift driver in a yard or manufacturing environment
* Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Commutable from: Burton on Trent, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Tamworth, Lichfield and Derby
