We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team building the Royal Navy's next‑generation Type 26 Frigates at BAE Systems' Govan & Scotstoun shipyards.
A great opportunity to work on one of the UK's most exciting engineering programme.
🔧 What You'll Need:
✔ NVQ Level 3 or SVQ Level 3 in a mechanical discipline
✔ OR a time‑served apprenticeship with trade papers
✔ Strong mechanical fitting experience (marine or industrial)
✔ Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
✔ Experience installing, aligning and maintaining mechanical systems
💷 PAYE Rates: Inclusive of Holiday
Local:
* £23.02/hr Standard
* £30.62/hr Nights/Weekends
* Up to £43.54/hr OT
Non‑Local:
* £32.19/hr Standard
* £39.78/hr Nights/Weekends
* Up to £43.54/hr OT
📅 Contract:
12 months | On‑site in Glasgow
