A Special Mental Health School in Thatcham are looking for a resilient and bubbly graduate to join their team as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, starting as soon as next week. As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support children aged 5 to 16 who face various social, emotional, mental health and behavioural challenges. Many of these students find it difficult to manage their emotions and form healthy relationships with others. In this role, you will serve as a positive role model for all pupils, supporting the development of social skills, emotional regulation and encouraging healthy interactions with peers. You will help achieve this with a patient and empathetic approach.
