How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Technical Quotations & Reporting Coordinator is responsible for producing accurate technical quotations, compiling completed survey reports to a professional client-ready standard, and reconciling data generated through the IMS bespoke inspection app.

This is a commercially critical role supporting live projects across MOD, residential and commercial estates.

The position requires strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to translate technical survey information into clear, structured client documentation.

    ⸻

    Key Responsibilities

    1️⃣ Quotation Preparation

    • Prepare detailed quotations from survey data and technical notes.

    • Interpret fire door and fire-stopping inspection findings.

    • Price remedial works in accordance with agreed schedules of rates.

    • Ensure scope aligns with fire strategy and compartmentation requirements.

    • Cross-check quantities and descriptions prior to issue.

    • Maintain version control of issued quotations.

    ⸻

2️⃣ Report Compilation & Client Documentation

    • Compile completed survey reports into professional client-ready documents.

    • Insert, label and organise photographic evidence.

    • Structure findings clearly by building, location and asset reference.

    • Ensure consistency with IMS formatting standards.

    • Produce executive summaries where required.

    • Prepare registers in Excel format for client issue.

    ⸻

    3️⃣ App Data Reconciliation

    • Reconcile inspection data exported from the IMS bespoke app.

    • Cross-check door references, locations and failure codes.

    • Identify missing or inconsistent data prior to client issue.

    • Verify that quoted remedials align with recorded defects.

    • Maintain accurate audit trails and document control.

    ⸻

    4️⃣ Commercial & Compliance Support

    • Support directors in tender returns and framework submissions.

    • Assist with compiling Defence-sector documentation where required.

    • Maintain structured project folders and digital records.

    • Liaise with inspectors to clarify technical findings.

    • Track project status and reporting deadlines.

    ⸻

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, data filtering, reconciliation).

    • Strong Word formatting and document presentation skills.

    • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

    • Experience in construction, compliance, fire safety, or technical administration preferred.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple live projects.

    • Professional communication style.

    ⸻

    Key Attributes

    • Methodical and organised.

    • Commercially aware.

    • Confident handling technical information.

    • Calm under pressure.

    • Able to challenge discrepancies rather than just process them
