You will help young people develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills to prepare them for adulthood.

Key Responsibilities

Provide mentoring and support to young people aged 16–18.
*
Help young people develop independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and maintaining their accommodation.
*
Support young people to access education, training, and employment.
*
Build positive and trusting relationships with residents.
*
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people at all times.
*
Maintain daily records and support notes.
*
Work alongside social workers and other professionals involved in the young person's care.
Requirements
*
Experience supporting young people or vulnerable individuals.
*
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
*
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or similar.
*
Experience working with care leavers or supported accommodation services.
