We have day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term Cover Supervisor jobs available in Swindon, supporting students aged 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4) across a variety of subjects.

Cover Supervisor – Role Responsibilities

As a Cover Supervisor in Swindon, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across different subjects in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students with engagement, learning and lesson activities
• Work across different departments and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
• Ensure students remain on task and follow school behaviour policies

Requirements

To be considered for this Cover Supervisor job in Swindon, you should have:

✔ CACHE Level 2 / Level 3 qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with young people
✔ Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
✔ Confidence working with students aged 11–16 in a secondary school setting
✔ The ability to work flexibly across different subjects and departments
✔ A passion for education, student development and classroom support
