How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Assessing manufacturing capacity, identifying improvements, and recommending design changes where needed.
Providing mechanical and/or electrical shop‑floor support across Operations, Supply Chain and the Final Assembly Lines (FAL).
    What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is passionate about engineering excellence and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

A strong understanding of lean principles.
Familiarity with business management tools, ideally SAP.

Experience within Manufacturing Engineering, Design, or related business systems.
Knowledge of aircraft production methods and procedures (highly desirable).
Ability to build effective relationships across engineering and operational teams.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, self‑driven approach.
    What's in it for you?

Working on‑site at Airbus Broughton means being part of a globally recognised engineering environment-one where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the core of every project.

    Competitive pay rates:
    £37.02/hour (umbrella)
    £27.68/hour PAYE
Develop specialist expertise within a world‑leading aerospace manufacturer.
Join a supportive engineering community with access to cutting‑edge tools and technology.
Work in a stable, long‑term assignment with potential for extension.
Be part of a diverse, inclusive workplace where every individual is valued.
    About the role environment

Work Pattern: 35 hours per week across 4.5 days, with flexibility between 7am-7pm.
    Travel: Not required.
