How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Development Representative

    £25,000-£28,000 basic salary + uncapped commission

    The Opportunity:

    Clover Talent is partnered with one of the UK’s fastest-growing commercial finance brokerages, headquartered in Northampton. With an ambitious culture and an award-winning reputation, they are looking to hire a motivated Sales Development Representative to join their new office in Chester.

    This is a proactive sales role focused on generating and qualifying new finance opportunities within the professional services sector. You’ll be building and maintaining relationships with lawyers, solicitors, accountants, and other key introducers. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with clear progression opportunities into Account Manager or Broker roles as the division grows.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with professional introducers, including lawyers, solicitors, accountants, and other advisors

    * Introduce suitable commercial finance solutions to clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings

    * Book meetings and pass qualified opportunities to senior brokers or account managers

    * Stay up to date with lender products and market trends

    * Accurately log activity and pipeline progress in the CRM

    * Consistently achieve activity and opportunity targets

    * Communicate professionally and confidently with senior professionals to build credibility and trust
