Our client, a precision engineering company based in Lichfield, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing manufacturing team. This role focuses on producing high-precision components within a modern machining environment, working on technically challenging parts and small batch production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Work to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standards
* Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies
* Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
* Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in CNC turning
* Experience with CNC controls such as FANUC, Siemens, or Mazatrol desirable
* Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
* Experience using precision measuring equipment
Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am (38 hours per week)
