Location: Heathrow / Feltham Area
Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available (Rostered Pattern or ADHOC)
Temperature: 5–20°C (PPE Provided)
The Role
We are currently recruiting Cold Store Operatives to join our clients based in the Heathrow/Feltham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment handling perishable cargo, including fish and other temperature-controlled goods.
You will be working within a cold store facility (5–20°C), with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cold Store Operative, your duties will include:

Loading and unloading vehicles carrying perishable cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment
*
Carrying out manual handling duties where required
*
Breaking down and building ULDs (including PAGs, PMCs and AKEs)
*
Using hand-held scanning devices to locate and identify cargo
*
Processing paperwork in line with client requirements
*
Checking inbound cargo for discrepancies, damage, or areas of concern
*
Picking and packing orders ready for delivery
*
Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment
*
Working collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic team
*
Adhering strictly to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
*
Be safety-focused with the ability to maintain a secure working environment
*
Be able to speak, read and write English
*
Have previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential – full training provided)
*
Be able to provide a fully checkable 5-year employment and/or education history
*
Successfully complete criminal record checks in line with CAA security regulations (DBS and/or PCC).
You should also demonstrate:

A willingness to learn and contribute to improving warehouse processes.
