An experienced Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) is required to join a small, well-established consultancy based in Birmingham. The company specialises in the residential and commercial sectors, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of innovative and high-profile projects across the region.
This opportunity will support your professional development as an engineer while enabling you to contribute to the delivery of landmark projects.
Ideally, you will be proficient in industry-standard software such as Hevacomp, Dialux, and Relux, with additional exposure to Revit being advantageous.
Responsibilities:
* Produce electrical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction and monitor electrical installation
* Calculations
* Provide advice to clients
* Developing electrical design solutions to satisfy client requirements
* Prepare technical specifications, reports and drawings
* Attend client and contractor meetings where required
* Site surveys and inspections where appropriate
* Conduct design quality reviews/audits as required
* Assist in the production of fee estimates and bids
* Coordinate further disciplines with Architects and Engineers
* This role with also suit an electrical graduate with some electrical design but this must be within building services only.
