Maintenance Engineer – Nights
📍 Near Studley (commutable from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham and surrounding areas)
We’re working with a well-established production business who are looking to strengthen their night shift engineering team.
If you’re a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems quickly and keeping production moving, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll be doing
This is a practical, shop-floor focused role where you’ll:
* Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently
* Carry out planned maintenance to reduce repeat issues
* Identify improvements to increase reliability and performance
* Work closely with production to keep downtime to a minimum
* Ensure all engineering work meets safety and quality standards
You’ll be trusted to work with autonomy on nights, making decisions and managing priorities as required.
What they’re looking for
* Engineering qualification (mechanical or multi-skilled)
* Strong mechanical fault-finding experience
* Electrical knowledge would be beneficial
* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting
* A calm, methodical approach under pressure
This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping equipment running reliably.
