How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – Horsham

    Location: Horsham, West Sussex
    Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role servicing, maintaining, and installing air conditioning systems across multiple client sites. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, have strong technical knowledge, and be committed to delivering high-quality service.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or light industrial settings

    *

    Conduct routine service checks and preventative maintenance

    *

    Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely

    *

    Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

    *

    Maintain accurate service records and reports for clients

    *

    Travel to client sites within the assigned region, providing responsive support

    Requirements

    *

    Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer (mobile/field-based)

    *

    F-Gas certification and relevant HVAC qualifications

    *

    Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and components

    *

    Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

    *

    Good communication and customer service skills

    *

    Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the local area
