Job description:
We are seeking a qualified Commercial Electrician to join our books for our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, upgrade, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to identify issues.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure optimal electrical design and installation.
Ensure all work complies with local and national safety codes and regulations.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Qualifications required:
Must be able to pass a D&A test.
In date DBS or agree to one being actioned
ECS card required
City & Guilds 2357 - NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation
City & Guilds 2382 - IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
City & Guilds 2391- Testing and inspection of electrical installations- (Not a necessity but advantage)
Any extra EAL Qualifications e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (will be an advantage)
Any Safe Electricity Certification (will be an advantage)
Proven experience as a commercial electrician. (min 3 years)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proven right to live and work in the UK
Fluent in English
