The Role
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills and confidence delivering lessons to secondary-aged pupils in the absence of their class teacher.
* Lesson plans, registers, and behaviour management details are provided by the school
* No planning or marking required (unless you're in a long-term contract – to be discussed)
* You'll help to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
Requirements
* Strong communication skills
* Minimum 3 months' experience in teaching, childcare, coaching, youth work, tutoring, or similar
* Confident communicating with pupils aged 11–16 years
* Comfortable managing behaviour and maintaining engagement
* A commitment to participation, development, and learning
* Strong interpersonal skills for working with pupils and staff
* Willingness to undertake safeguarding training
