Technical Manager (Mechanical Bias)

I am pleased to present an opportunity for a Mechanically Bias Technical Manager (Principle Mechanical Engineer) based in Manchester working for a prestigious organisation, on either a temporary or permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for ensuring that safe systems of work for all mechanical services on the estate
*Accountable for ensuring that mechanical installations are properly installed, by competent persons, and commissioned adequately, with relevant certification and sign off.
*Responsible for all Mechanical and Gas records
*Develop and establish maintenance programmes for the organisations specialist systems, providing detailed reports to the Head of Building Services & Engineering
*Ensure that all systems, designs, procedures, works and services delivered comply at all times with statutory Health & Safety legislation
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in Managing teams of Engineers, ideally mechanically biased
* Mechanical or HVAC qualifications (minimum level 3)
* Technical knowledge on gas, pressure systems, air conditioning & HVAC
* Experience with statutory compliance
