Construo Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead a landmark high-rise residential apartment development in the heart of Bristol. This is a flagship project and requires a senior leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale residential schemes with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
The Role
As Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a multi-storey residential development. You will lead the project team, drive programme performance, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and commercial control.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of a major high-rise residential scheme
* Provide strategic leadership to project, commercial and technical teams
* Ensure robust programme, cost, quality and safety management
* Oversee design coordination and technical compliance
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain
* Champion a positive site culture and high-performance environment
* Lead reporting, risk management, and project governance activities
About You
To be considered, you must demonstrate:
* Proven experience as a Project Director with a main contractor
* A strong track record in delivering high-rise residential apartment projects
* Leadership of major projects £40m+ preferred
* Excellent communication, negotiation and team-building skills
* Strong commercial and contractual understanding
* Ability to manage complex technical, logistical and stakeholder challenges
