Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, (37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30am – 4:30 pm)
Location: Walsall (Bloxwich)
Salary: £22,500 - £30,000 per annum, (depending on experience & qualifications)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor delivering English and Employability to our students.

Our programme delivery now includes; 16-18 study programmes, pre-apprenticeships, provision for learners with high needs, apprenticeships and 14-16 alternative provision.

As a Functional Skills Tutor you will be supporting students to achieve their functional skills qualifications in both, English and Employability up to Level 2. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutor who can motivate, engage and inspire our learners to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Functional Skills English, and Employability up to Level 2.
* Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure lesson plans are prepared.
* Achieve company KPI’s and Individual Performance Plan
* Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals
* Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
* Create conditions in the training centre(s) which will help to develop the abilities, skill and confidence of each learner.
* Regularly assess learners' work.
Requirements:
* Experience of delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2
* A Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
* Full Teaching Qualifications I.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS
* Passion & desire to teach
* Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.
Full, clean UK Driving License
