A rare opportunity to lead and scale a global Matter Optimisation (MO) Finance capability within a top-tier international law firm.
Sitting at the intersection of strategy, client delivery and commercial performance, this role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to drive adoption of MO services, enhance client offerings and optimise profitability across a key practice area.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how legal services are delivered, aligning capability with demand, embedding best practice and driving measurable impact at a global level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute the global MO strategy for the Finance division
• Drive adoption, utilisation and continuous improvement of MO services
• Partner with senior stakeholders (Practice Heads, Partners) to align services with client and practice demand
• Identify and deliver opportunities to optimise client delivery, efficiency and profitability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Centres of Excellence to scale best practice
• Track performance against KPIs and ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery
Key Skills & Experience:
• Extensive experience in Matter Optimisation, Legal Operations or delivery strategy within a global professional services environment
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on client value, efficiency and profitability
• Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders in complex environments
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
