How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Bradford Jacobs partners with a specialist UK-based design consultancy to deliver high-quality telecoms and infrastructure solutions nationwide. With expertise spanning CAD design, site surveys, and advanced 3D modelling, the company supports the full lifecycle of telecom infrastructure—from initial concept through to build and upgrade. Known for its flexible, client-focused approach, it works closely with major operators and developers to deliver tailored, efficient, and technically robust solutions in a rapidly evolving sector.


    We are looking for a driven and results-oriented SDR/Lead Generator to support our team by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in generating work in telecoms, architecture, renewable energy and general engineering. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record and a high conversion rate of success as a lead generator.


    Key duties:

    • Conduct market research to identify prospective clients using online tools, databases, and social platforms.
    • Research ongoing and upcoming infrastructure and construction projects aligned with company capabilities, identifying opportunities for sector expansion.
    • Generate new business leads through outbound strategies, including cold outreach (email and phone), social selling, and networking.
    • Nurture relationships with prospects through consistent follow-up to develop future opportunities.
    • Qualify leads by assessing technical requirements, business needs, and budget suitability.
    • Manage and respond to inbound enquiries and follow up on marketing campaigns.
    • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance targets.


    Skills required:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Persuasion and negotiation skills.
    • Strong time management and organisational skills.
    • Ability to navigate and use CRM tools and marketing platforms.

    This is an on-site position based in Hewish, Weston-Super-Mare, paying a salary up to £30,000 per annum plus comms.
