MacGregor Black are partnering with a manufacturing business on the search for an ER Business Partner. This is a contract role based in Aylesbury, offering hybrid working, in an incredibly fast paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters across the site
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and senior stakeholders
- Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
- Support and coach managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters
- Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Partner with HR and operational teams to drive a positive employee relations climate
- Identify trends and risks within ER data, providing insights and recommendations
- Support change management initiatives, including restructures and organisational change
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an ER-focused HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
- Demonstrated experience handling high-volume and complex ER casework
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
