Principal Medical Writer (Pharma Advertising)
We are supporting a growing, independent healthcare communications consultancy in the search for a Principal Medical Writer to deliver commercially focused, strategic content across a range of therapy areas. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, strategy-led environment, partnering closely with senior stakeholders on brand development and launch-focused programmes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a range of promotional content including visual aids, messaging documents, and digital campaign materials
• Support delivery of disease awareness campaigns and broader marketing initiatives
• Contribute to brand positioning, tactical planning, and content workshops
• Translate brand strategy and HCP insights into clear, compelling communications
• Support development of integrated marketing and content strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across strategy and execution
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to support strategic discussions and project delivery
Experience Required
• Strong experience in commercial medical writing or healthcare communications
• Proven ability to develop promotional and strategic content across multiple formats
• Experience contributing to brand positioning and strategy workshops
• Understanding of HCP audiences and brand strategy translation
• Experience within relevant therapy areas (e.g. Oncology, rare disease, neurology, immunology) is advantageous
• Advanced degree preferred
