Overview:
We are looking for a commercially aware finance professional to support the management of customer accounts and contribute to the organisation’s cash flow performance. This role combines relationship management with financial oversight, playing an important part in balancing risk, customer experience, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring balances are actively managed and aligned with expectations
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, disputes, and account queries
- Support the optimisation of cash collection processes, contributing to improved cash flow outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, supporting reporting and decision-making
- Identify trends, risks, or opportunities within the receivables ledger and escalate or act as appropriate
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, policies, and overall customer account management
Requirements:
- Experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a related finance role
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of risk and cash flow dynamics
- Ability to prioritise effectively and operate with a degree of autonomy
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
