Are you currently completing your PGCE or QTS qualification and looking to gain valuable paid classroom experience before starting your ECT year in September? Milk Education is partnering with supportive primary schools across Leeds who are keen to welcome trainee teachers ready to take their next step.
This is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, strengthen your teaching toolkit, and gain experience across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 — all while being fully supported in friendly, welcoming school environments.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00
Start: Flexible start dates (ideal for students finishing placements)
Contract: Week-by-week initially, with long-term opportunities available
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver and support engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Gain hands-on classroom experience alongside qualified teachers
- Support pupils’ learning through the National Curriculum / EYFS Framework
- Build confidence in classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Support pupils with SEN using positive, inclusive approaches
- Develop relationships with staff, pupils, and the wider school community
