How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Taylormade Employment are on the lookout for 360 Recruitment Consultant to join the Team at our Selby Branch.

    Do you want to join a team with a family feel, large open plan office, and free parking.

    Working hours Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

    Starting salary £27,000- £30,000 depending on experience.

    Desirable bonus package

    25 days holiday plus bank holidays

    The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates for all positions within the organization. This includes developing relationships with potential candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing and distributing job orders. The Recruiter will also be responsible for filling open positions with the appropriate candidates.

    Essential Duties:

    * Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.

    * Evaluate available resources to meet recruitment needs.

    * Conduct interviews using established screening techniques and appropriate hiring standards.

    * Evaluate candidates’ skills and experience to determine whether they are qualified to perform the job.

    * Conduct background checks on all new hires.

    * Prepare job orders for hiring.

    * Develop and implement recruitment strategies to maximize the efficiency of the organization.

    * Conduct candidate selection processes using established selection techniques and best practices.

    * Monitor the effectiveness of candidate communication and interview process.

    * Monitor the effectiveness of candidate onboarding process.

    * Conduct reference checks on new hires.

    * Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all hiring needs are met in a timely manner.

    * Provide candidate evaluation reports to hiring managers.

    * Meet or exceed weekly recruiting goals, as assigned by management.

    * Other duties as assigned by management.
