Job Description – Head Roofer / Roofing Supervisor:
You will lead day‑to‑day roofing operations, supervise small teams, carry out garage roof replacements, and ensure safe, compliant work on every job. This role suits someone ambitious, reliable, and keen to progress with a rapidly growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise roofing teams on site.
* Carry out metal garage roof replacements, including removal of asbestos cement sheets (in line with HSE & CAR 2012).
* Ensure high‑quality workmanship and efficient job completion.
* Maintain strict site safety standards and compliance with HSE guidelines.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
* Mentor and support junior roofers and labourers.
Skills & Experience Required:
* 3–5+ years roofing/carpentry/building experience (garage roofs/flat roofing ideal).
* Experience leading or supervising a team.
* Strong understanding of HSE site safety requirements.
* UKATA Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain).
* Reliable, professional, and able to work without supervision.
