How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    LGV Drivers Required - Afternoon / PM Shift | Hemel Hempstead

    £19.27 p/h Basic | £ 28.91 p/h Overtime| 38.54 BH Bonuses Available

We're currently recruiting experienced LGV Drivers for PM shift work, based in Hemel Hempstead with one of the UK's leading major retail brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work, great pay, and long-term stability with a well-established operation.

    The Role

    Shift: Afternoon / PM

    Start Times: Typically between 11:00am - 5:00pm (may vary slightly depending on delivery schedules) you

    Shift Length: 8-10 hours per day

    Work Type:

    Store-to-store deliveries

    Occasional trunk runs between distribution centres

    Pay & Benefits

    £19.27 per hour - Basic Rate

    £28.91 per hour - Overtime (after 45 hours)

    What We're Looking For

    Valid LGV Licence with minimum 1 year's driving experience

    no more than 6 penalty points

    Age 21+ (insurance requirement)

    Full UK Driving Licence, Digital Tacho Card & CPC

    Ability to complete and pass a driving assessment

    A reliable, safety-focused driver with a professional attitude

    Availability Requirements

    The operation runs 7 days a week, so drivers must be flexible to work any 5 days out of 7.

    Weekend work will be required, so if you're not willing to work weekends this role may not be suitable. However, you won't be working every weekend, and you'll typically have at least one weekend day off in most weeks.
