CAD Technician (AutoCAD / Revit)

Location: Manchester - Altrincham
Salary: £28,000 – £38,000 (DOE)

CAD Technician Overview

We are seeking a CAD Technician on behlaf of our client to join their growing team due to continued growth and increased project demand. This CAD Technician role will involve producing detailed technical drawings and 3D models across a variety of projects, supporting the wider design and delivery team.

This CAD Technician position is suited to someone with existing industry experience who is confident working with AutoCAD and Revit and is looking to develop further within a supportive team environment.

CAD Technician Responsibilities

The CAD Technician will be responsible for:

* Producing accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD as a CAD Technician

* Developing and updating 3D models using Revit as a CAD Technician

* Interpreting design briefs and producing technical drawings as a CAD Technician

* Amending and revising drawings in line with project requirements as a CAD Technician

* Supporting project teams with technical drawing output as a CAD Technician

* Ensuring all CAD Technician outputs meet internal and client standards

CAD Technician Requirements

To be considered for this CAD Technician role, you should have:

* 2–5 years’ experience as a CAD Technician or similar position

* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD as a CAD Technician

* Experience using Revit as a CAD Technician (preferred)

* Knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D software as a CAD Technician (desirable)

* Background in construction, architecture, building services or similar as a CAD Technician

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as a CAD Technician
