PE Global is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing client based in Aycliffe. The role is a 6-month contract and the rate is £22.84 p/h.
Shift: 3 shift rotation.
6am-12pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am (Monday - Thursday)
6am - 12pm / 12pm - 6pm / 6pm - Midnight (Friday)
Responsibilities:
• Ensure equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably
• Minimize downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical or technical issues efficiently
• Support continuous improvement of equipment performance
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
Requirements:
• Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities
• Problem solving, Safety Awareness/adherence to safety procedures. Preventive and corrective maintenance skills.
• Mechanical repair and troubleshooting Electrical systems knowledge (motors, circuits, sensors)
• PLC basics and understanding of control systems
Education
• NVQ level 3, ONC
