Paralegal Team Leader – (12-Month FTC)
Bristol  -  Full Time  - Hybrid
An established UK law firm is looking for a proactive Team Leader to support and develop a growing team of Paralegals and Apprentices. This 12-month contract runs until April 2027 and is perfect for someone who loves guiding junior talent while staying close to legal work themselves.
The Role
Lead a team of Paralegals and Apprentices, providing day-to-day supervision, support and coaching
Oversee training, performance development, and quality assurance
Allocate work and help manage team resources
Carry out some fee-earning tasks to stay hands-on and support busy periods
Work closely with early talent teams and training providers to support Solicitor Apprentices
Hybrid working: minimum 2 days a week in the Bristol officeAbout the Team
You’ll join a busy legal support team working across multiple practice areas, mainly within insurance litigation. The team drafts legal documents, prepares bundles, conducts research, supports contract reviews, and plays a key role in delivering high-quality legal work across the business.
What You’ll Need

Law degree (or equivalent)
2+ years’ fee-earning experience
Experience mentoring, supervising, or training others
Strong communication skills and a supportive, people-first approach
Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, collaborative working style
