Location: Essex (Hybrid – home-based with approx. 2 days per week in the office or attending local meetings)
Contract: Full-time, temporary (until July 2026)
Rate: £280-£300 umbrella a day dependent on experience
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Essex for 2 experienced EHC Coordinators to join either the Assessment or Casework teams. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for a dedicated caseload
Manage either:
New EHC assessments (approx. 40–60 cases)
Existing EHC plans (approx. 200–240 cases)
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local authority policies
Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to deliver high-quality supportRequirements:
Experience as an EHC Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of SEND legislation and Education, Health, and Care Plans
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage a significant caseload effectivelyWhat We Offer:
