How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    £50,000 - £60,000 + Package + Training + Progression to Pre-Contracts Manager

    This is a great opportunity for an Estimator to join an ambitious and growing construction company specialising in commercial fit out, where you will have full autonomy and clear progression to Pre-Contracts Manager.

    Are you an Estimator with previous experience in interior fit out and are looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to join a goal driven company who give autonomy on the role and a clear progression route?

    This ambitious Midlands-based company operates nationwide, specialising in office interior projects. They provide clients with a full design-and-build fit-out and refurbishment service, tailored to meet individual specifications and brand identity. Their strong reputation and client-focused approach have driven their success since inception, and they are now embarking on a five-year growth plan. To support this, they are looking to expand their dynamic team with this exciting opportunity.

    This role you will take on a number of responsibilities where your time will be split between the office and the occasional site visit nationwide. You will be responsible for producing accurate tenders and quotations, building relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and working collaboratively with the design and sales teams to ensure successful project handovers to the Pre-Construction Manager into delivery.

    Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a motivated Estimator looking to actively progress their career who is technically minded and process driven. As well as someone who holds a full UK drivers license to be able to travel to sites when required.
