As Site Engineer, you will support the day-to-day delivery of construction activities, ensuring works are set out accurately and completed in line with programme, specification and regulatory standards. The successful Site Engineer will work closely with site management, design teams and subcontractors to keep works moving efficiently and to resolve technical issues before they affect progress. This Site Engineer position would suit someone who is proactive, organised and confident working in a live construction environment.
Your responsibilities will include accurate setting out, interpreting drawings, reviewing technical information, supporting subcontractors and helping coordinate works across site. You will carry out inspections, maintain quality records, assist with as-built information and help identify defects or non-conformances for prompt resolution. The Site Engineer will also play an important part in promoting health and safety, supporting safe systems of work and contributing to a positive site culture in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
