We at JKR are recruiting a brand-new, exciting position for a global manufacturing company!
Our client has a vacancy for a Junior Quality Engineer. This new role is required to play a pivotal role in the development of quality systems. This is a full-time, site-based role.
Junior Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with other departments and take a proactive approach to ensure business unit systems are maintained and continually improved
* Drive non-conformances to closure, to prevent recurrence and adherence to the quality audit schedules
* Providing support for internal auditors to ensure the level of audit capability within the business
* Host / support customer and accreditation audits conducted on site
Junior Quality Engineer Core Requirements:
* Exposure as a quality auditor
* Familiar with the requirement of quality standards ISO 9001 or AS9100
* Competent in the use of MS Office
* Competent oral and written communicator
Junior Quality Engineer Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Previous quality or systems engineer experience
* Experience of using quality tools (FMEA, Risk Assessment, Design Experiments etc)
* Knowledge of PPAP, APQC
* Knowledge of Q Pulse software
* Knowledge of SPC techniques
Junior Quality Engineer Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
