How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about food quality and safety? Looking to build your career in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with real opportunities to grow?

We’re looking for a Technical Administrator to join our dynamic Site Technical Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance are met across site operations.

    About the role

As Technical Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our technical operations—supporting quality systems, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll help ensure we meet all legal, customer, and internal standards, while driving a culture of food safety and quality across the site.

    Key responsibilities

    Quality & Compliance

    * Maintain and manage the Quality Management System (QMS)

    * Control and audit all technical documentation and records

    * Support internal and external audits, including BRC standards

    * Carry out CCP checks, internal audits, and traceability exercises

    * Manage quarantine processes and trackers

    Data, Reporting & Analysis

    * Produce daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports

    * Analyse trends and support KPI reporting

    * Monitor product quality scoring and identify improvement areas

    Technical Administration

    * Manage customer complaints from investigation through to resolution

    * Maintain lab schedules (micro, environmental, nutritional testing)

    * Handle sample collection, logging, and result tracking

    * Raise POs, track budgets, and manage department costs

    * Support specification administration and supplier documentation

    Food Safety & Training

    * Support HACCP systems and food safety processes

    * Help maintain training matrices and ensure compliance

    * Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across site

    What we’re looking for

    * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

    * Confident communicator across all levels

    * Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends

    * Proactive, methodical, and improvement-focused

    * Able to work independently and under pressure

    Experience & Qualifications

    * Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (preferred)

    * Understanding of food safety and quality principles

    Ready to apply?

If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact, develop your technical expertise, and grow your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment—we’d love to hear from you
