Warehouse Supervisor

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Thetford. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a supervisory role within a busy and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the loading and unloading of lorries, ensuring goods are packaged and secured correctly
Optimise loads for maximum space and weight efficiency
Count, check, and sign off goods in and out
Prioritise workloads in line with delivery and production schedules
Liaise with Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, and Production Planning teams to ensure order accuracy
Coordinate with delivery drivers, providing paperwork, itineraries, tools, and instructions
Maintain security of lorries, keys, and the dispatch area
Uphold Health & Safety standards, ensuring fire exits and workspaces are kept clear
Assist with additional Warehouse and Production duties as required

Requirements:

Previous warehouse or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
Own transport is essential due to location
