Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of Europe’s biggest Automotive groups who are looking to recruit for a Contract Technicians at their Bexley site.
We are looking for Technicians/mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background with at least 2 years experience in the Industry.
You will be Apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles.
The role:
* Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation of parts
* Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment onsite
* Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
* Accurately record time to complete job cards and associated details in accordance with DVSA.
* Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiency
Skills & Experience:
* Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a qualified Fitter/Mechanic/Engineer
* Possession of own tools
