£40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Weekends: 1 day every other weekend, paid at 1.5x
Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, plus 1 additional day per year of service
Pension: 6% employer contribution
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for delivering high quality installation, maintenance, and repair work across a wide range of plumbing and heating systems. Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair hot and cold-water systems, sanitation systems, waste disposal, and central heating.
Diagnose, fix, and maintain piped services, including drainage systems.
Test closed-loop heating circuits to ensure correct pressure and operational levels.
Manage and maintain an inventory of plumbing materials.
Support and collaborate with other team members when needed.
Comply with Health & Safety policies and take part in seasonal shift patterns and on call rotations.
Carry out any additional duties reasonably requested by management within the scope of the role.Required Knowledge & Skills
City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing (or higher)
Unvented Hot Water Certificate
CCN1 Gas Qualification
Strong understanding of Health & Safety, including COSHH
Good knowledge of building regulations
Must have own hand tools
Significant proven experience in plumbing and heating
