Location: Newmarket

Hours: Monday–Friday (07:00–16:00)

Salary: from £40,000

What will you do in the HGV Technician role?

Carry out servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation on HGVs
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs (engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension etc.)
Complete job cards and service documentation using electronic systems
Work as part of a busy, fast-paced workshop team
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency 

What we’re looking for

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Previous experience working on commercial vehicles
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good IT skills and attention to detail
A positive, proactive and team-focused approachDesirable (not essential):

HGV licence
IRTEC accreditation
Main dealer experience
