How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on part time, maternity cover bais. In return, we will offer a competitive salary pro rata of £26,238 - £26,334 per annum (i.e. £15,600.97 - £15,658.05).

    22 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

    The Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM role:

    Are you looking for an exciting and varied administrative role, working in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) team to support our Lecturers and managers in ensuring our students have a fantastic experience?

    We have an exciting opportunity as a Quality and Admin Co-ordinator. As a key part of a busy and growing team, you will provide effective administrative support to staff and management as well as supporting in the co-ordination of quality improvement processes to ensure every student has an experience that will ignite their passion in STEM subjects.

    You will be joining our team at an exciting time, with our new state-of-the-art STEM facility recently opened. This facility includes bespoke teaching and learning environments designed and built to match the cutting-edge technology in industry and will support outstanding teaching and learning. We also have exciting developments in motor sport through involvement with All Porsche Racing.

    Key Responsibilities of our Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM:

    To support the Head of Learning and Teaching and Learning Manager in the coordination of the department’s quality improvement systems and processes; including the production and anaylsis of data and reports and organisation of quality moderation meetings.

    Provide a full range of secretarial and administrative services; receive and prioritise    e-mail communications and maintain an efficient electronic filing system so that papers are retrievable at all times.

    Maintain diaries; make appointments where necessary and ensure that relevant papers for such appointments are available in all formats as required.

    Maintain a reminder system so that all matters requiring attention are brought forward with relevant information.

    Maintain a presence within the STEM reception area following a duty rota; to welcome students and visitors, to maintain high standards and to reinforce expectations throughout the building.

    To co-ordinate and analyse all available STEM student data and report on areas where there is an achievement gap & attendance issues.

    Produce and audit reports required by the STEM Management Team for meetings with staff and Senior managers.

    Our ideal Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM should have the following skills and experience:

    Educated to at least A-Level/NVQ 3 standard or equivalent experience

    Analysing and reporting on statistical information

    Co-ordination or supervision of systems, processes and people4

    Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

    Passionate about quality improvement and to changing lives through learning
