How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, a national manufacturing company, is actively seeking a proactive, dedicated and commercially driven National Account Manager to lead and grow strategic customer relationships across the UK capital equipment market. This is a high‑visibility role responsible for delivering revenue growth, shaping long‑term account strategies, and securing major capital sales opportunities with key national customers.

Acting as the primary commercial partner for high‑value accounts, driving solution‑led sales, negotiating complex contracts, and ensuring exceptional customer experience throughout the full capital sales lifecycle.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties to include:

    • Own and develop a portfolio of national accounts within the capital equipment sector.

    • Build multi‑level relationships across procurement, operations, and senior leadership.

    • Develop and execute annual account plans aligned to revenue, margin, and growth targets.

    • Lead the full sales cycle for capital equipment solutions, from scoping to close.

    • Deliver compelling value propositions, ROI models, and technical demonstrations.

    • Manage tender responses, pricing proposals, and contract negotiations.

    • Forecast accurately and maintain strong pipeline discipline.

    • Monitor account performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

    • Collaborate with finance, service, and operations to ensure profitable delivery.

    • Work closely with technical, engineering, and product teams to shape customer solutions.

    • Support marketing with customer insights to drive targeted campaigns and product positioning.

    • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer presentations.

As an ideal candidate you will have proven experience in capital equipment sales or high‑value technical solutions with a strong track record managing national or strategic accounts together with confidence in negotiation and experience handling complex commercial agreements.

You will also possess a strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and build business cases and be self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working autonomously. As this is a fully remote role a current UK driving licence is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity of a career within a forward thinking, dynamic work environment with a competitive remuneration package, bonus, commission pay and benefits including car allowance and amazing career prospects
