The Opportunity
Are you passionate about empowering young adults to reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a unique and rewarding role within a mainstream Further Education (FE) setting in Aldridge.
In this role, you will provide vital support for students aged 16-24, helping them navigate the transition into adulthood and higher education. This isn't just about classroom assistance; it's about building confidence, fostering independence, and making a tangible impact on a student's future.
Key Responsibilities
Targeted Support: Provide bespoke 1-1 assistance to students with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Collaborative Strategy: Work hand-in-hand with lecturers and SENCOs to implement and adapt tailored learning plans (EHCPs).
Inclusive Environment: Cultivate a vibrant, safe, and inclusive atmosphere where students feel empowered to participate.
Holistic Development: Support both academic progress and the development of essential life and social skills.Who We Are Looking For
