Maintenance Engineer

We’re working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Thetford who are looking to add an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team. This is a key position within a fast-paced production environment, focused on keeping machinery running efficiently and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment
Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues on machinery, including PLCs, drives, and control systems
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
Work closely with production to ensure minimal disruption to output
Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times
About You

Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
Strong electrical fault-finding ability
Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable)
Basic mechanical knowledge
Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
