How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary: £16.39 per hour
    Hours: 40 and on-call
    Location: Oxton Area, Wirral
    Contract: Full time, Permanent

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and lead that team to helping people live purposeful and meaningful lives. You must be able to communicate with families and health professionsals as required.
    NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or commitment to work towards.  
    NVQ 3 in Leadership and Management or commitment to work towards.  
    Knowledge of the National Minimum Standards (2000).  
    Knowledge of Valuing People / Valuing People Now.  
    Knowledge of the Reach Standards.  
    Competent user of ICT / Windows Applications.  
    Full Driving Licence / Access to Transport.  
    Capacity to Travel quickly and cost effectively within designated area of responsibility.  
    Experience in delivering Social Care in different geographical environments.  
    Experience of being part of support projects and support initiatives.  
    Experience of improving services.  
    Experience of person-centred practice.  
    Experience of report writing and taking minutes of meetings.  
    Experience in support planning and risk assessment.  
    Work in multiple support settings - have the flexibility to work accross our other schemes where business needs arise.
    Service Training and Management skills training available.

    What will you be doing: 

    Promote and encourage client’s engagement in all activities within the organisation and community.  
    Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and practices.  
    Ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults.  
    Promote, encourage, and deliver person centred practice.  
    Ensure compliance in all aspects of service delivery to all Statutory and Regulatory requirements including health and safety procedures.  
    To be part of the Support2Independence on call Rota.  
    To ensure that staff comply with Support2Independence policies and procedures.  
    To assist the Manager in supervision, appraisal processes, absence and disciplinary processes.  
    To assist the Manager in the training programme.  
    To implement, monitor and review clients support and healthcare plans and risk assessment.  
    To assist with administrative tasks.
    To maintain and develop professional working relationships with colleagues and working partners and hold meetings, disseminate corporate messages, capturing information and communicating to line management in feedback.  
    To contribute to the development of quality services.  
    To uphold the vision and values of S2I.  
    To travel within the operational areas of S2I, when needed for On-Call
    To work flexibly in accordance of the needs of the service.  
    To update company standards in a timely way to keep practice in date.
    Attend monthly staff and client meetings and disseminate information from these meetings.
    To promote the personalisation agenda in making services fit around people and achieving outcomes in the following areas: Improved Health and Wellbeing / Improved Quality of Life / Making a Positive Contribution / Freedom from Discrimination and Harassment / Achieve Economic Well-Being / Exercise of Choice and Control / Personal Dignity.
